What is leather tanning



Leather tanning is a process of removing leather oils from dead animal hides and preserving it with chemicals and reapplying shelf stable oils for use , flexibility and suppleness .  When leather is tanned and reintroduced as vegetable tanned leather it becomes easy to form and work with and last a life time longer than regular fabric , leather stands above of any fabric for it,s uniqueness to stand the test of time by looking better year by year .
